Forthcoming Event - The BKS Gathering 2008

 

 

The BKS is evolving, new instructors and new member clubs have added to the expertise we all share.

 

To enable us to appreciate the skills of our new members and for us all to experience the expertise of our founding members we are proposing a Gathering.

 

The Gathering will also provide us with an opportunity to hold an AGM, Dan Grading and a verification/ratification of the Dan Grades currently held by our instructors.

 

The purpose of the verification/ratification is to provide everyone with the benchmark of expected knowledge and skill requirement for a particular Dan Grade within the BKS.

 

The most obvious way to complete this task is by using the vast array of experience held by our senior members.

 

This process will provide a measure for current and future Dan candidates and enable everyone to plot their own training and understanding for future progress.

 

The AGM is to allow open discussion on the current and future aims of the organisation.
